Adrienne Marie

Adrienne, being the fourth daughter, out of five, from an Italian family, realized her love for party planning at a very young age. She watched her mother throw many parties through the years and was fascinated how she could plan such nice affairs for her family and guests and still be such a gracious hostess:  Not to mention the four beautiful weddings her mother planned for her daughters with only their assistance.  “Two of my greatest joys in life are serving people and to see people having a good time.  I will always appreciate the example my mother showed me and cherish every smile she put on as she made sure everyone was comfortable and happy.”

While in college, Adrienne worked at different restaurants, and studied interior design.  In 1992 she began her career at Paolo’s Restaurant in San Jose, California.  While there she worked her way up to Banquet Coordinator / Assistant Floor Manager.   It was there that she really began to appreciate fine dining and superior customer service.  After six years at Paolo’s, she wanted to expand her event planning to a larger facility. In 1997 she went to San Jose’s legendary Lou’s Village Restaurant and Banquet Facility where she planned events and weddings of 10-900 guests.

In 2002 she decided to mesh together her education of and eye for design with her restaurant experience.  The logical progression was planning beautiful weddings and events. Adrienne strives to know every part of the planning process intimately.  Besides facilities, she has worked for catering companies and feels that helps her clients in the overall planning process.  “I like to know all other Wedding Professional’s worlds.”   In 2006 she began to learn floral design.  With the teaching of Linnae Asiel of Asiel Design, she feels that she can truly be an asset with the inner understandings of floral and overall design for her clients.

Adrienne has been professionally trained by the ACPWC (Association for Certified Professional Wedding Consultants) and is an active member in the Association.  She has achieved the title of Certified Wedding Consultant.  From 2003-2006 she served as the ACPWC Membership Chair on the Board of Directors.  In 2007 was voted as the ACPWC Vice-Chairperson, and now serves as the association’s Secretary.  “If I want to be my best, I need to associate myself with the best.”
